Kanes and Para

The majority of my readers aren't even my friends on Facebook, so unfortunately, you all don't have a preview into my daily-happenings. I apologize for the lack of sass on my part, but at least you get to see my creative side! :)

Anyway, I acquired a few pieces of para I thought I'd share.

This is one of my latest kanes. I like the way it came out. There is a BUNCH of info on this damn thing, so I need a lot of camera angles.

"Achievement", our fundamental purpose, and our founding year are clearly visible on the front. This is the side that shows when I usually take pictures holding the cane. Also, when hanging from my back pocket or my backpack, this is the side people can see the easiest. You can see my krossing name wrapping around the top, and it shows up in subsequent pics.

This side is the back of the kane, barely visible unless you're actually holding the kane, or I show you. Lambda Xi is my chapter, and I had to put the trademark "NUPE" on the back. They kinda go hand in hand, because this chapter produces nothing less than that, similar to how Achievement was realized in 1911. Notice how you can still see my line name wrapped around.

This is the hook. I tried something new, because the pure Red felt out of place, so I decided to wrap it in white and add a layer on top.

View of the top half of the kane. Line name, "Pretty Damn Kocky" (almost didn't fit in the allocated space ; ; ). Obligatory "2" At the top. :-D

Next to bat is my Scrollers Club kane. I think this might be some of my best work yet. I can't twirl for shit with this one though - way too heavy. It makes a nice practice wood for stepping, though.

Here is an angle of the backside. I get crazy with this kane. I couldn't wait until I was able to put the clear tape on and solidify the design. :)

I think this type of hook design might be a standard for a while. This kane was tricky. Anyone who knows how to wrap can probably notice the tricks I had to pull to do this, but let me just say that my skinny Green tape didn't match the base green tape, so I had to improvise.

Just another angle. It's like an optical illusion, son! This kane is good for two things - hanging on a wall, and step practice. And I suppose If I was stranded in a forest or something, I could hunt beers with it.

Here is the front of the jacket. I probably should have went with a red one, but I REALLY liked the way the white jackets look. Everyone is all like "nooo, it's gonna get dirty!" Well that's why they have dry cleaners.

I've seen some hot designs on the back of other jackets, so this one feels pretty meager to me. :( Well I can always get another jacket and put this in the closet until special occasions. It's supposed to be a Scroll, but it doesn't really stand out. At least there's a "2" there.
